In this step, Dr. Ladd will create a detailed 3D image of your teeth using state-of-the-art digital scanning technology. This image will be used to design a personalized treatment plan, outlining the exact movements of your teeth and estimating the length of your treatment. You'll even get to see a virtual representation of how your teeth will move during the treatment and what your smile will look like once it's complete.
Once your custom aligners are ready, you'll return to our office to pick them up. Dr. Ladd will ensure they fit properly and guide you on how to wear and care for them. You'll need to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
